About Club Fellowship

  • Club Fellowship is a Clubhouse serving adults in South Miami-Dade County who are living with severe or persistent mental illness. We provide a welcoming, supportive community where members can build meaningful relationships, develop valuable skills, increase independence, and work toward their personal, educational, and employment goals.
  • Our program is based on the Clubhouse model of Psychosocial Rehabilitation , an internationally recognized approach that focuses on members’ strengths, abilities, talents, and potential.

Our Focus on Employment

Employment is an important part of the Clubhouse experience. Club Fellowship provides members with opportunities to develop workplace skills, explore career interests, prepare for employment, and build the confidence needed to pursue their vocational goals.

Through participation in the Clubhouse’s work-ordered day, members can strengthen skills such as communication, teamwork, responsibility, organization, time management, problem-solving, and task completion. Members may also participate in employment and educational workshops, resume preparation, interview practice, job searching, and other activities designed to support their journey toward employment and greater independence.

Members may have opportunities to participate in:

  • Employment Support — Building workplace skills, exploring employment opportunities, preparing resumes, practicing interviews, and working toward vocational goals.
  • Education — Participating in workshops, developing computer and academic skills, and exploring educational goals.
  • The Work-Ordered Day — Working alongside members and staff in meaningful Clubhouse responsibilities that promote teamwork, confidence, responsibility, and independence.
  • Independent Living Skills — Strengthening practical skills that can support greater independence at home and in the community.
  • Social & Recreational Opportunities — Building friendships, practicing communication skills, participating in activities, and connecting with others.
  • Health & Wellness Education — Participating in workshops and discussions that promote healthy habits, coping skills, and overall well-being.
