At Club Fellowship, members have opportunities to participate in meaningful work, develop skills, build relationships, explore employment and education, and become active contributors to their Clubhouse community.
Our Clubhouse operates through a Work-Ordered Day, where members and staff work side-by-side to complete the real and meaningful work needed to operate Club Fellowship.
Participation is voluntary, and members are encouraged to choose opportunities based on their interests, strengths, abilities, and personal goals. Whether preparing a meal, creating the monthly newsletter, answering the telephone, developing a resume, organizing the Café, welcoming a new member, or helping with a Clubhouse project, every contribution plays an important role in our community.
At Club Fellowship, members are not simply receiving services—they are helping build and strengthen the Clubhouse community.
Work-Ordered Day
Meaningful Work. Shared Responsibility.
The Work-Ordered Day is at the heart of Club Fellowship.
Throughout the day, members and staff work side-by-side to complete the activities and responsibilities necessary to operate the Clubhouse. The day is structured to provide members with meaningful opportunities to participate, contribute their talents, develop relationships, and recognize their strengths and abilities.
Daily Clubhouse needs and responsibilities are identified through Unit Meetings, Needs Lists, task sign-ups, and discussions between members and staff. Members are encouraged to choose where and how they would like to contribute.
The Work-Ordered Day may provide opportunities to strengthen skills such as:

The purpose of the Work-Ordered Day is not simply to complete tasks. Meaningful work creates opportunities for members to experience belonging, purpose, responsibility, confidence, and connection while contributing to the Clubhouse community.

Communication & Media Unit
Connect. Create. Communicate.
The Communication & Media Unit helps keep Club Fellowship connected, organized, informed, and welcoming.
Members and staff work side-by-side on projects and responsibilities that support communication throughout the Clubhouse and help share the Club Fellowship community with others.
Opportunities may include:
Reception & Lobby
Members can assist with answering phones, greeting visitors, organizing the reception area, and helping create a welcoming environment.
Clubhouse Newsletter
Members contribute ideas, articles, artwork, interviews, announcements, photographs, and other creative content for the Club Fellowship newsletter.
Monthly Calendar
Members help identify important dates, Clubhouse activities, social events, holidays, awareness months, birthdays, and other information for the monthly calendar.
Social Media & Website
Members can contribute ideas, photographs, stories, announcements, and creative content that help communicate what is happening at Club Fellowship.
Café
Members help operate and maintain the Clubhouse Café through activities such as preparing beverages, organizing supplies, assisting with sales, maintaining inventory, and keeping the Café clean and welcoming.
Thrift Store
Members help sort, organize, label, display, and maintain donated clothing and other items.
New Member Orientations
Members can help welcome new members, provide tours, introduce different areas of the Clubhouse, and share their experiences as members of Club Fellowship.
Clubhouse Supply Runs
Members may have opportunities to participate alongside staff in planning and obtaining supplies needed for Clubhouse operations.
Through these opportunities, members can strengthen communication, organization, teamwork, creativity, computer, customer-service, and leadership skills while making meaningful contributions to Club Fellowship.
Employment & Education Unit

The Employment & Education Unit provides members with opportunities to explore their strengths, develop skills, pursue educational interests, and work toward employment goals.
Members and staff work side-by-side to identify resources, complete Clubhouse responsibilities, participate in educational activities, and support members who are interested in employment or continuing their education.
Opportunities may include:
Resume Preparation
Create a new resume or update an existing resume with support from members and staff.
Job Searching
Explore employment opportunities online and in the community.
Job Applications
Receive support understanding job postings and completing applications.
Interview Preparation
Practice common interview questions, appropriate communication, and ways to present strengths and experience.
Career Exploration
Learn about different careers and identify jobs that may match individual interests, strengths, abilities, and goals.
Employment Workshops
Participate in interactive workshops covering topics such as workplace communication, interviewing, resumes, professionalism, job searching, teamwork, and other employment-related skills.
Education Support
Explore opportunities related to GED preparation, vocational programs, college, continuing education, computer skills, reading, writing, and other individual educational goals.
Computer & Technology Skills
Practice basic computer skills and learn how technology can be used for employment, education, communication, and everyday life.
Every member’s employment and educational journey is different. Club Fellowship provides opportunities and support to help members identify their goals and take meaningful steps toward achieving them.
Culinary Unit
Prepare. Serve. Work Together.
The Culinary Unit plays an important role in the daily life of Club Fellowship by helping provide meals and maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming kitchen and dining environment.
Members and staff work side-by-side throughout the day to plan, prepare, serve, and clean up meals while completing the responsibilities necessary to operate the Clubhouse kitchen.
Opportunities may include:
Meal Preparation
Assist with preparing ingredients and meals for the Clubhouse community.
Food Service
Help organize and serve meals to members and staff.
Kitchen Organization
Maintain organized food, kitchen supplies, refrigerators, pantry areas, and workspaces.
Inventory & Supplies
Assist with checking food and kitchen supplies and identifying items that need to be restocked.
Food Deliveries
Help receive, label, organize, and properly store food and supplies delivered to the Clubhouse.
Kitchen & Dining Area Maintenance
Work together to maintain clean kitchen surfaces, dishes, equipment, tables, chairs, and dining areas.
Food Safety
Practice appropriate food handling, sanitation, organization, and kitchen safety procedures.
Participation in the Culinary Unit provides opportunities to contribute to an important part of the Clubhouse community while strengthening teamwork, organization, responsibility, communication, meal preparation, and other practical skills.
